Abstract: At this event, three historians affiliated with Pitt’s Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program will share their understandings of the larger context shaping the current landscape of access to abortion in the United States. This is the first in a series of planned discussions designed to employ intergenerational dialogue about what can be learned from the era before Roe v. Wade to identify resources and possibilities in the current moment.
