Tomas Bednar received a BA from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008, an MA in Bioethics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. His thesis is entitled Ethical Considerations of Newborn Euthanasia: A Quality of Life Approach. He received a JD from Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia. Tomas completed a 2-year fellowship with the Independence Foundation--a public interest fellowship to start a medical-legal partnership that focused on the needs of low-income cancer patients and worked for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled at Hahnemann University Hospital. He is currently Vice President and Counsel at Healthsperien in Washington, DC.
