Tomas Bednar received a BA from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008, an MA in Bioethics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. His thesis is entitled “Ethical Considerations of Newborn Euthanasia: A Quality of Life Approach.” He received a JD from Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia. Tomas received a 2-year fellowship with the Independence Foundation. He received this public interest fellowship to start a medical-legal partnership focused on the needs of low-income cancer patients and worked for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled at Hahnemann University Hospital. He currently is Enterprise and Regulatory Affairs Analyst at AmeriHealth Caritas.
