This two-year grant from the NIH National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities and Office of the Director at NIH was awarded as part of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act and seeks to increase the participation of African Americans/Blacks, Hispanics/Latinos and other minority populations in public health and biomedical research, including clinical trials, by identifying best practices in the recruitment and retention of ethnic and racial minority populations in research.
