Call for abstracts: The goal of this in-person conference is to explore the range of topics addressed in reproductive ethics. Individuals from all professional fields are invited to create a rich and robust discussion. Abstracts are welcomed for individual presentations, 3-4 person panels, and posters. Limit abstracts to 250 words for presentations and posters and 500 words for panels. A special submission category for abortion has been created for this conference; indicate if the submitted abstract should be considered for this category.
Abstracts should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 1, 2022. Submissions will receive a response by September 30. The conference organizer is Lisa Campo-Engelstein, PhD (Bioethics and Health Humanities, University of Texas Medical Branch), in collaboration with Paul Burcher, MD, PhD (Obstetrics & Gynecology, WellSpan Health) and Claire Horner, JD, MA (Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy Baylor College of Medicine, and a graduate of Pitt’s MA Program in Bioethics).
Keynote speakers will include: Kimberly Mutcherson, JD (Co-Dean and Professor of Law, Rutgers Law School) and Elena Gutiérrez, PhD (Associate Professor, University of Illinois Chicago).
