Building Trauma-Informed and Resilient Communities: Continuing the Conversation

October 4, 2019 -
9:00am to 1:30pm

Abstract:  This workshop is designed to assist participants by increasing their awareness and knowledge of trauma, including psychological trauma and vicarious trauma. It will present the key principles of a trauma-informed approach. Additionally, the workshop will provide practical and evidence-based techniques and develop skills that may be used to develop trauma-informed and resilient communities. These skills are particularly relevant for pastors and ministries, but the workshop is open to all. Space is limited, however. Registration is required and will open here soon. The workshop will include a working lunch.
