The Group-Based Medical Mistrust Scale (GBMMS): A Look Back and a Look Forward

Abstract: Medical mistrust that is informed by membership in a marginalized group has been investigated across a range of health conditions and health behaviors using the GBMS. This presentation will review literature reporting its use and discuss next steps to address the role of medical mistrust in health disparities.
