Abstract: Science journalist Sally Davies will chair this “Brocher Meetup” that brings together all the chairs of our previous Meetups—namely, Françoise Baylis, PhD (Dalhousie University); Diane B. Paul, PhD (University of Massachusetts, Professor Emerita); Arthur Caplan, PhD (New York University); Barry R. Furrow, JD (Drexel University); Ruth Macklin, PhD (Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Professor Emerita); Bertrand Taithe, PhD (University of Manchester); and Laurie Zoloth, PhD (University of Chicago). Participants will discuss the ethics of different possible post-COVID futures and assess how our handling of the pandemic to date has affected what pathways might be possible.
