Abstract: This discussion will begin with how implicit bias is defined and measured in behavioral neuroscience. We will then proceed to some classic experiments that have shaped how the concept of implicit bias has been discussed in the public and policy space. Lastly, we will discuss some specific examples of how historical data can lead to the development of implicit bias in medicine.
