A graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with a joint major in English and Middle Eastern Studies and a minor in German, Mia Spinelli has worked as both a teacher of German and a paralegal with experience in immigration law. With advanced Arabic and German language skills, as well as interest in English novel writing, she studied in Bath, England, and Amman, Jordan. She divides her time between the Center for Bioethics & Health Law and the Research, Ethics and Society Initiative of Pitt Research, and serves as the Program Coordinator for both.
