The second applies the lessons of the Exodus story and its rituals to both the patient experience and the healer’s moral imperative. Dr. Weinkle posts additional writing at www.healerswholisten.com, and hosts the podcast, “Healing People, Not Patients,” on the Doctor Podcast Network. Dr. Weinkle represents the University of Pittsburgh on the Advisory Board of the Conference on Medicine and Religion, where he presents regularly, and has served as the Chair of its Executive Committee since 2025.
